I build backends and AI features for products where a wrong answer has a cost - a payment that moves twice, a patient told the wrong thing, a coverage gap nobody reported.

Most of my work sits in one of two places. Money: ledgers, settlement, reconciliation, and the retry and idempotency logic that keeps them honest while transactions are in flight. I'm currently building a multi-currency virtual wallet for a logistics company. Health: patient intake and clinical triage, FHIR R4 and HL7 integrations, EHR data sync, and HIPAA-aware architecture with real audit logging.

Running through both is the AI layer - retrieval systems that know when they don't know, and agents that fail loudly instead of quietly finishing half a task.

Before contracting I worked as a software engineer across banking and automotive data platforms. I have a BS in Computer Science and I'm finishing an MS in Data Science at FAST Karachi.
